INTRODUCING NA-EM5III
THE OLYMPUS OM-D E-M5 MARK III CAMERA
Weighing in at under one pound, the E-M5 Mark III packs an outsized punch. The E-M5 Mark III is built around the same 20Mp Live MOS sensor and Dual F.A.S.T Autofocus system as the larger OM-D E-M1 Mark II. New for the Mark III is the addition of a 121-point hybrid AF system which, combined with the powerful TruePic VIII processor allows for 10fps burst mode capture with AF-C. The Mark III's EVF has been upgraded to an OLED display with 60fps refresh rate. The 5-axis in-body stabilization also receives an 0.5 stop bump to 5.5EV.
The E-M5 Mark III also steps up in the video category with DCI 4K at 24p or stabilized UHD 4K at 30p using the full width of the sensor to maintain field-of-view. HDMI output supports the 1.4 standard with 8-bit 4:2:2 at up to 30p quality.

With the OM-D E-M5 Mark III, Olympus brings a host of features from their flagship Four Thirds models into an economical and compact package that is ideal for the traveling image maker.
THE NAUTICAM NA-EM5III UNDERWATER HOUSING
The OM-D E-M5 Mark III places the power of the E-M1 Mark II in a compact travel-friendly package and so does the NA-EM5III. Building on our strong lineup of mirrorless camera housings, the NA-EM5III is a feature-rich underwater imaging tool. Our Mission Control design philosophy insures that critical controls are clearly labeled and easy to access with intuitive placement.
The NA-EM5III is built around the extensive N85 port system. Optimized port solutions for a wide variety of Micro Four Thirds lenses and access to our Underwater Corrective Optics makes the Nauticam NA-EM5III a superior image-making platform.
Stainless steel stiffening brackets and a shutter release extension, which are compatible with the optional Easitray II or Flexitray II tray systems are included with the NA-EM5III. An M10 threaded accessory mounting point is also ready to accept the optional M10 strobe mounting ball for additional accessory mounting flexibility.
HDMI CONNECTIVITY
A forward M16 bulkhead can be used for the optional HDMI 1.4 Bulkhead for use with external monitor housings such as the NA-502 or NA-502B for the SmallHD 502 and 502 Bright monitors. See sidebar for recommended configurations.
VIEWFINDER OPTIONS
The E-M5 mark III has an upgraded OLED Electronic Viewfinder. A clear view for fine focus and composition is critical for successful underwater photography, and nothing beats a magnifying viewfinder. These viewfinders use distance, not closeup vision, and provide a large, clear view of the high resolution Olympus electronic viewfinder. Available in Angled 45º (PN 32205) and Straight 180º (PN 32204) formats, both viewfinders have external dioptric adjustments for dialing in perfect correction matched to the photographer’s eyesight.
RAPID FIRE OPTICAL FLASH TRIGGERING
The E-M5 Mark III camera with the included FL-LM3 flash is limited to 2-3 fps continuous shooting, even when a low manual power is selected in the camera flash menu. In situations where continuous optical shooting is required, Nauticam’s Mini Flash Trigger for Olympus (26306) can trigger external strobes over fiber optic at up to 10 frames per second! The trigger is powered by onboard coin style lithium batteries, with thousands of flashes available from a set.
The NA-EM5III comes fiber optic ready and accepts standard Sea & Sea style bushing connections. Nauticam Universal Fiber Optic cables provide exceptional light transmission for accurate TTL performance.
Electrical triggering of legacy wired strobe systems is possible via an electrical Nikonos style bulkhead (optional).
INTEGRATED VACUUM CHECK AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM
The Nauticam vacuum check and leak detection system is available with NA-EM5III as standard equipment. Combined with an optional vacuum valve (PN 25624 or 25625), this monitoring system provides constant updates on the water tight and safe-to-dive status of the housing. A simple coded LED lighting system lets the user know that the vacuum is solid, or that the housing is losing vacuum. Leak detection is built into the same circuit, so if there is water intrusion, an audible and visual indication will occur.
